eTimeMachine collects activities, resource assignments and trouble tickets from systems such as Remedy, MS Project, Primavera in real time and sends them to the resources' workspace (also acts as timesheet, and is a mirror image of the eTimeMachine workspace) on BlackBerry's and Smartphone. The resource updates activities he is assigned to, with progress and time and expense. The updates are sent back to eTimeMachine and eTimeMachine sends the updates back to Remedy, MS Project, Primavera as well as ERP systems (accounting, Human resources).

When Remedy receives a ticket and it assigns a resource or a resource group, it will automatically go to eTimeMachine that will assign a resource. The resource will receive the ticket (as a task) in his/her workspace - on his computer and his Blackberry / Smartphone, making the mobile resource (or crew, team) more mobile and better informed. The mobile resource, enters into the workspace updates such as progress, time and expenses (computer and mobile devices are continuously synchronized), and his updates eTimeMachine, that in turn updates Remedy.

Project managers use MS Project to plan projects and assign resources. When a resource is assigned in MS Project, the resource receives the task he/she was assigned to in his/her workspace. eTimeMachine will automatically send the assignment to the resource's mobile device, allowing the resource to enter updates such as progress and time and expense. The updates are sent back to eTimeMachine in real time, and from eTimeMachine to MS Project.
